Mjonøy Handcraft and Cultural Center is the location of the stampa that is used to full the woven cloth into vadmel. It also has a wood fired bakery, camping cabins, an an exhibit space that serves as a gallery part of the year as well as a store which sells local traditional handcraft items.

textiles at the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum in Decorah, Iowa. Lila
received the prestigious St. Olaf's medal from the Norwegian government for
her work in the preservation and dissemination of Norway's rich textile heritage.
